So yes, we all love groups, but when was the last time we actually appreciated how much effort is put into their avatar? Group avatars are a form of artwork in their own right so here's a little tribute to five of the best group avatars I've seen recently!
- I love this icon! It just looks so professional, with the vibrant colours and excellent design.
- Sometimes simplicity is all that is needed. Bold black letters and a simple blue background make this fantastic.
- I adore the intricate design on the right of this avatar as well as the soft blue/grey hue which is used.
- Hehe, U is in brackets! But I'm glad this group kept their avatar black and white - and beautiful in its simplicity.
- Yellow/orange is the best colour ever~! Again bold, black letters on a colourful background are sometimes all that is needed! A little sparkle here and there helps as well though.
Want to have your groups avatar considered for a feature here? Just send me a note with your groups link in it and I'll consider you for next months' feature!

Do you have any fond memories of the games? I remember first borrowing it from a friend and being told explicitly not to save. I was so proud that I'd gotten to Mt. Moon before having to return it XD I think my parents bought it for me a few days later. Charmander will always be my favourite <3 who's yours?
As tribute, I've collected a little feature below of some awesome Pokemon art over the years!

Why developers should embrace creativity
We often refer to artists or writers as being creative, but the actual definition of creativity is:
“the use of imagination or original ideas to create something; inventiveness.”
So whilst artists and writers often gain their fame from writing something imaginative and unique, programmers also exhibit this skill, albeit in a slightly different way.
Traditionally it was thought that the left side of the brain was for logical thinking, and that the right side was for creativity. Following this logic, you would assume that developers were left-brained, and that designers were right-brained.
