So for a while now I've been thinking of taking tutorial requests, specifically in the areas of:
Photomanipulation
Photoshop
Writing (maybe)
Webdesign
HTML/CSS
If you would like to request a tutorial in those areas, please just post it below. It can be anything from "How do I use the pen tool", to "What is the Rule of Thirds", and "How do I use box-shadow on text in CSS".
Alternatively, if there's a piece of art in my gallery you would like broken down, link me to it and I'll gladly create a walkthrough.
Be sure to watch me to see if your tutorial gets made. I'll be focusing on making 1 a week, and I'll feature in my journal which tutorial will be made each week.
There is a forum thread on the subject here: [link]

How to think up a good design, where to begin, tropes to use, etc. Most web design tutorials I read are quite specific and are about how to do particular effects, but the thing I find hardest is coming up with a general idea/layout, and how to tell when what I'm making sucks (beyond basic things like 'don't use too many fonts' -- I mean more like how to make something with good aesthetics). Things like: use a grid, contrast, where to put headers, how large to make headers, how to do minimalism elegantly, that sort of thing.
can I request how to make a watercolor brush just like paint tool sai in photoshop?
for brushes, just like have wet edges (fringe effect like SAI)
